This piece reflects the often forgotten history of the colonies that fought for the freedom of the allied forces, and gives them the rightful respect they deserve. Originally created as part of a submission to Poppy Appeal.

This series was created as an ode to diasporic languages that are quite often suppressed in western culture. The beauty of languages are often unappreciated in how they look and how they sound - this was my way of paying some respect to them.

Struck by the tragic events that happened in London in 2017, I felt a strong drive to try to remember those we lost that day. Ladbroke Grove has a rich history of diverse culture from all walks of life who lived in that tower. Unfortunately we have not seen any responsibility being taken for the tragic event.
